history and community, focused on student learning and completion.
Serving more than 23,000 students annually, Wright College grants certificates and associate degrees, with its credit courses transferable to most four-year colleges and universities. Wright College is the hub for Information Technology education for City Colleges of Chicago’s (CCC)
College to Careersinitiative.
In fiscal year 2014 (FY2014), Wright College exceeded or met 11 of the 18 goals on its
FY2014 Scorecard, and came within 5 percent of an additional four targets. This annual scorecard measures key targets established in City Colleges’ Five-Year Plan (released June 2013), which assesses progress against CCC’s goals.
In FY2014, Wright College reached a milestone in awarding 1,031 associate degrees. It was the first time in Wright’s history where more than 1,000 students earned their associate degrees within the fiscal year. This exceeds Wright’s target by 21 percent and represents an increase of 20 percent over the numer of degrees awarded in FY2013. The number of degrees awarded annually at Wright has more than doubled since 2011.
